Remember When?

Post a comment with a COMPLETELY MADE-UP, FICTIONAL MEMORY OF YOU AND ME. It can be anything you want--good or bad--and can include fellow bloggers, if you wish. Keep it within a PG rating, please. I'm anxious to read about our fictional past.I encourage you to do this on your blog, so I can post some made-up memories about you too! I seem to recall you milking a cow for the first time.....

Thanks to Jamie Dawn for this fabulous idea!

I don't know if you remember this as well as I do, but it was the summer when you were 10 and I was 23. You were quite the surprise baby - coming along like you did when I was practically grown. Nearly gave mom and dad a stroke. But that's beside the point. Do you remember when you wanted to try out as a PeeWee football league cheerleader? you wanted me to coach you and teach you all the moves - and I was a sucker since you are the best little sister ever. So I did a back handspring and went straight into the splits. Where, although you didn't realize it, but I had pulled my leg muscles so bad, I could hardly walk for 6 weeks. Then you thought you had to be better than me, so you tried the same thing only you didn't want to use any hands on your back hand-spring. Which was all well and good - IF you could do it. But you couldn't without me spotting you and I couldn't get up so you did it alone and of course, you fell, broke both arms AND your nose. Needless to say, you didn't get to be a cheerleader and instead we spent the fall laying around watching movies - which is why we still do it every chance we get. Pass the popcorn.

That must be what's wrong with my nose now. All red and swollen!

I remember that you and I were in the same home economics class. You were so good at everything! Your cake turned out perfectly, and mine looked like The Blob. The blouse you sewed looked store bought, and mine only had one arm opening and one too many buttons. So, when it came time to partner with someone and do a final project, I knew I had to have you for a partner, if I was going to have a chance at a passing grade. Well, you ended up with the flu just days before the class final, and I had to do it all on my own. Everyone in the class ended up with food poisoning from my chicken dish. Luckily, the teacher got deathly ill and was not able to grade our finals. We all were given A's for effort by the substitute. Whew!

Remember when we decided we wanted to join the circus as flame throwers so we ran away and joined up only to find out that the only positions they had available were for clowns? Man, it was so funny trying to get all of us in and out of that tiny car! Remember when your foot got stuck and all the clowns were pushing and pushing and I had to fight them off with the lion tamer's chair just so you wouldn't get trampled! Those clowns can be vicious! I was glad when we decided to leave the circus and try our hand at becoming stunt pilots! Wow, that was a change!!!

Good times I tell ya!

Remember when flew to Montreal and got caught licking the milles feuilles in the bakery and the hunky security guard asked us to leave and we told him that we would if he would strip for us and he did?

Oh wait....LOL. No, I'm pretty sure I just dreamed about that. It didn't really happen, right? (and I was kidding about the mooning too...maybe :-P)

Oh, and I forgot to add 'on snowshoes' to the first story.
