The site of all the birds in the morning was nothing unusual in the Valley and since being here, it's not unheard of, but we have not yet had the purple finches. We also had some woodpeckers this morning but by the time I got the camera out, they were gone.
I could stand at my window or sit at the dining room table for hours watching them, but alas, real life is calling.......

Very pretty birdies :). Looks like you've got some goldfinches too! They'll be faithful to you come spring and summer when they're really vibrant and pretty!
