Today's the day.....

Hud is now under the knife for "the procedure". Last chance for babies has come and gone. Well, then again..... I guess we still have a wee window. We're just waiting for the call to go and pick him up.

Had another fabulous phone conversation with Lori today. She's right about being much faster than typing, and one can get much work done at the same time.

Had a quick visit with a friend today as well. Good times! I guess it's been a busy day!

My husband had a vasectomy. It was bittersweet. Even when you know you aren't going to have more children, making it "permanent" is closing a door and it made me feel quite sad for awhile. I hope you have positive feelings about it - if not, I'm here to talk. {hugs}

Very busy day! Dale had his snip about 4 years ago. There is a small window of opportunity; like Andrea, a friend of ours got preggers with their 3rd child during the time they were waiting to have him tested to see if there were any swimmers left. Ah, good old reserve swimmers. So you have about 6 weeks to get to it if you want another! hee hee! That or there's always a reversal procedure. Hope he is feeling okay and hope he has a nice bag of frozen peas to sit on.

I hope that things work out the way you want them to in regards to the big V. And I hope his "boys" heal nicely and he doesn't have much pain :)

A very busy day indeed! Are you okay now that hubby got snipped? I think it can be somewhat emotional1

Is that procedure a late birthday gift for Hud or for you?
I've been trying to talk my hubby into doing that for years. He says he's not afraid, but I'm not so sure.

When it's time, it's time and you know it. Good for you for getting him to do it and not go yourself for stuff.
Hope things fix up quickly and he's not all cranky and sore forever. You know how men tend to be....
